About this role
Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health seeks an LPN or RN for several PRN shifts at a residential adolescent group home program in Kennesaw, GA. Positions require 1 shift per week and 1 weekend per month. Two weeks of orientation are required before starting.
As an RN or LPN, provide direct care nursing to youth with emotional or behavioral needs. Administer medications, deliver medical treatments, and complete admissions. Actively engage with the youth served and their families or guardians.
Work overnight shifts from 6:30pm to 7am, with every other weekend and holiday availability needed. Join a nonprofit leader in behavioral healthcare serving children and adolescents. Devereux maintains a zero-tolerance policy for abuse and fosters a culture of reporting.

Requirements
- Completion of accredited LPN or RN program and current Georgia Nursing License required
- Six months to one year of nursing experience highly preferred
- Experience in psychiatric nursing with children or adolescents a plus
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Satisfactory drug screen and background check results
- Overnight availability 6:30pm-7am, every other weekend and holidays required
- Ability to complete two-week paid new hire orientation in Kennesaw, GA
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care nursing to adolescents in a residential group home
- Administer medications to youth served
- Provide medical treatments as needed
- Complete admissions for new residents
- Actively engage with youth served and their families/guardians
- Monitor health status during overnight shifts
