About this role

Baltimore Crisis Response, Inc. (BCRI) seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for its 24/7 Crisis Respite Unit. Provide direct nursing care to adults experiencing mental health and addiction crises. Join a multidisciplinary team to monitor health, administer medications, document care, and promote recovery.

Monitor client health including vitals, blood sugars, wound care, and clinical changes daily. Administer medications such as PRN, Methadone, and Suboxone. Document all care in EMR and report changes to on-call providers while responding to emergencies.

Work in a nationally recognized nonprofit providing community-based behavioral health crisis services since 1992. Collaborate in a supportive, impact-driven environment focused on timely crisis response for individuals and families. Coordinate with medical providers to ensure safety and stability.

Combine hands-on nursing with patient education and wellness groups to support healing. Play an essential role in recovery and community stability. Access tuition reimbursement and professional development to grow in crisis care.

Requirements

Maryland LPN or RN license (required)
5+ years’ experience in addiction treatment or co-occurring disorders
Strong teamwork skills
Strong documentation skills
Strong crisis intervention skills

Responsibilities
