GoHealth Urgent Care

Danbury, US · Full-time · $130,000 – $140,000

About this role

At GoHealth Urgent Care, we partner with innovative health systems like Northwell Health to deliver effortless, personal, and connected patient experiences. Our UCA Fellowship Program, accredited by the Urgent Care Association of America and College of Urgent Care Medicine, prepares advanced care practitioners for urgent care through comprehensive training.

The 6-month program, running May 2026 through October/November 2026, provides intensive high-yield training including didactic reviews, case studies, hands-on skills, and in-center work with experienced providers. Fellows divide time between clinical shifts, mandatory weekly lectures, self-learning, and skills labs for procedural training.

Fellows train alongside senior preceptors, program directors, faculty, and core faculty who monitor performance. Rotations involve floating to different centers, potentially requiring regional travel. Evaluations occur at each phase end, with reviews based on GoHealth quality metrics like NPS, attendance, and antibiotic stewardship.

Participants complete research/publishing, self-study materials, and procedure logs to graduate. Full-time employee benefits apply during the program. Successful fellows may receive offers for continued full-time employment based on regional needs.
