About this role

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health seeks an LPN or RN for several PRN shifts at a residential adolescent group home program. Positions require 1 shift per week and 1 weekend per month. Deliver nursing care to youth in a behavioral health setting.

As an RN or LPN, provide direct care nursing, administer medications, provide medical treatments, complete admissions, and actively engage with the youth served and their families/guardians. Overnight shifts run from 6:30pm to 7am. Engage daily with adolescents facing emotional or behavioral challenges.

Requirements

  • Completion of accredited LPN or RN program and current Georgia Nursing License required
  • Six months to one year of nursing experience highly preferred
  • Experience in psychiatric nursing with children or adolescents a plus
  • Minimum of 21 years of age
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Satisfactory Drug Screen and Background Check results
  • Overnight availability 6:30pm-7am, every other weekend and holidays required
  • Ability to complete two-week paid new hire orientation class
