Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current New York State RN Licensure
- BCLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Chemotherapy Administration Certification (preferred)
- Oncology Nursing Certification (preferred)
- Experience administering chemotherapy (preferred)
- At least two years of acute care RN experience in Oncology (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy to adult oncology patients
- Manage symptoms during infusion treatments
- Support patients through their oncology care journey
- Educate families on treatments and care
- Serve as nerve center of multidisciplinary teams
- Provide infusion therapy in specialized cancer center
- Monitor and respond to patient needs during Day Flex shifts
