We are seeking a Registered Nurse for our Private Duty Care department to cover in-home visits. This role involves routine field nursing visits, including medication set ups and maintaining the plan of care.

You will provide basic patient care such as taking vitals, weekly medication management per physicians' orders, monthly diabetic nails, monthly skin monitoring, and bi-yearly general health assessments. Observe, record, and report reactions to treatment and changes in client's condition to appropriate personnel and physician. Follow state-approved care plan and provide medication instruction when needed.

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of MO
  • In-home experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and self-management skills
  • Strong and compassionate customer service skills
  • Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

  • Provide basic patient care including taking vitals, weekly medication management per physicians' orders, monthly diabetic nails, monthly skin monitoring, and bi-yearly general health assessments
  • Open new cases and obtain all related consents, documentation, and deposits in accordance with company policy
  • Observe, record, and report reaction to treatment and any changes in client's condition to appropriate personnel and/or physician
  • Supervise In-Home Aides for Advanced Personal Care (APC) Services
  • Provide instruction and education on medications when needed
  • Follow state-approved care plan
  • Attend quarterly Nurse Meetings
