Preferred Professional Services (PPS) is a proud affiliate of National Health Care Associates, a growing network of more than 40 short-term rehabilitation and long-term care centers. We have per diem shifts available now in our Long-Term Care and Rehab Facilities. Join our team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to ensure resident well-being.
As an AGENCY Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care, administer medications, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and oversee care plan implementation. You will monitor vital signs, deliver wound care, and support CNAs. Your role focuses on the comfort of residents in LTC and rehab settings.
Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team in a supportive environment where compassion and expertise unite. Supervise CNAs while ensuring regulatory compliance. National centers share values of Kindness, Service, Compassion and Excellence.

Requirements
- Valid state LPN license in the State of Maine
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
- Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill, with the ability to work with both
- Strong clinical skills, including the administration of medications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
- Provide wound care and other nursing interventions as needed
- Supervise and support Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) in delivering care
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and protocols
