As a Staff Nurse, lead the team in continuous assessments, planning and evaluation of residents’ needs and wishes. Provide excellent nursing care, oversee medicine management per NMC Standards, and create treatment plans.

Offer a safe, caring environment while ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines. Support the Service Manager by promoting high standards, supervising staff and shifts smoothly.

Guide, teach and mentor team members, working with the Manager for smooth home operations. Access bespoke training, recognition schemes like Staff Appreciation Week, and development opportunities.

Requirements

Current registration with the NMC
Relevant Nursing qualification
Compassionate and caring attitude
Adequate knowledge and experience of the nursing role
Clear understanding of nursing professional boundaries

Responsibilities

Provide excellent nursing care and support to residents
Oversee all aspects of medicine management and ensure safe administration of medication in accordance with NMC Standards
Create and carry out treatment plans
Offer a safe, caring and stable environment to residents
Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines
Support the Service Manager with key targets by promoting high standards of nursing care and supervising staff and shifts
Support, guide, teach and mentor other members of the team
Work individually and in partnership with the Manager to ensure smooth running of the home
