Requirements

  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Board certification as NP or PA
  • Active DEA licensure
  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • Experience in urgent care or primary care settings
  • Ability to interpret diagnostic tests including x-rays, labs, and EKGs
  • Competency in urgent care procedures like wound closures and splint applications

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for a variety of urgent care conditions
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including x-rays, labs, and EKGs
  • Perform typical urgent care procedures, such as wound closures, I&Ds, and splint applications
  • Collaborate with a network of peers and specialists to enhance patient outcomes
  • Triage and manage patients efficiently to maintain a smooth clinic flow
