Requirements
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Board certification as NP or PA
- Active DEA licensure
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Experience in urgent care or primary care settings
- Ability to interpret diagnostic tests including x-rays, labs, and EKGs
- Competency in urgent care procedures like wound closures and splint applications
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for a variety of urgent care conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including x-rays, labs, and EKGs
- Perform typical urgent care procedures, such as wound closures, I&Ds, and splint applications
- Collaborate with a network of peers and specialists to enhance patient outcomes
- Triage and manage patients efficiently to maintain a smooth clinic flow
